A year after announcing her breast cancer diagnosis, television star Hina Khan has made a comeback with 'Pati Patni Aur Panga' - but she says she can still sense a certain reluctance in the industry to cast her.

“This is my first project after the whole thing happened. I want to work. No one has directly said to me, ‘You’ve still not recovered completely,’ but I can sense that maybe people are hesitant,” Khan told PTI. Determined to change that perception, she added, “It’s okay. I’ll have to break that norm. Maybe the show will do it. I’m open to

everything, please call me.”

The 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actor described her latest reality show as both a career milestone and a personal test. “It was a big step for me to take up the show, and it was an experiment as far as my health is concerned. So far so good - I get tired a bit, but apart from that, everything is fine,” she said.

Khan is also looking beyond television, expressing her desire to play a spy in films or on OTT. “I want to be part of the spy universe. I was watching Special Ops and so wanted to play a spy,” she shared.
