Namaste London was a hit, whereas Namaste England termed as flop

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Namaste England was the wahiyat sequel of Akshay and Katrina's Namaste London.

In this week's Wahiyat Wednesday, we relive that misery. Namaste England starred Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. The duo is currently awaiting the release of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The film was supposed to hit theatres on March 20 but has been postponed



indefinitely due to the coronavirus scare.

Namaste England comes out as a Sarojini Nagar rip-off of Namaste London. The Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer was a hit because it had its heart in the right place and its story too. The film was backed by good acting and Akshay's monologue about desh bhakti, something Arjun Kapoor tried but failed, clicked with the audience back in 2007.
