Alia Bhatt has provided insight into the ways motherhood has influenced her career choices, highlighting a shift in her approach to work since welcoming her daughter Raha in November 2022. The actor, who is set to appear in two major films in 2026, detailed her transition to a more deliberate work schedule, as well as her continued dedication to meaningful projects.

In a recent interview, Bhatt addressed how becoming a mother has affected her professional commitments. She stated, “Of course, the volume and the speed at which I work now are different because I have a child. But it’s a comfortable pace, and I’m happy with it. I like doing one film at a time and giving it all my energy. Earlier, I would do two or three films simultaneously, but I don’t want to do that anymore.”

Bhatt’s upcoming projects include Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, where she takes on an action-centric role. The film, part of the YRF Spy Universe, also features Sharvari and Bobby Deol and is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026.

She will also appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is

currently in production and is slated for release in 2026, marking another significant entry in her filmography.

Addressing her experience performing action sequences post-childbirth, Bhatt remarked, “Doing action after having a baby was very interesting because it allowed me to see what my body is capable of. It was such a learning experience, and it gave me a lot of respect for my body.”

The actor has often discussed her daughter’s personality and their family dynamic. In an interview with Allure magazine, she described Raha as “naughty and chatty,” noting that her daughter displays both bright and shy moments.

Bhatt’s father, filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt, has shared that the actor frequently brings Raha to work, where the toddler reportedly has her own vanity van. This arrangement reflects Bhatt’s commitment to balancing her professional obligations and family life.

As Bhatt prepares for the release of Alpha and Love & War, her comments suggest a renewed focus on balancing ambitious roles with her responsibilities as a mother, signalling an evolution in her career approach shaped by her personal experiences.
