Mohit Suri’s romantic musical 'Saiyaara', starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is showing no signs of slowing down even in its seventh week at the box office. Despite competition from big releases like 'Dhadak 2', 'Coolie', 'War 2', and 'Param Sundari' the film remains steady, proving to be one of the top runners of recent months.
According to reports, 'Saiyaara' has grossed Rs 581 crore worldwide, with Rs 412 crore coming from the Indian box office and Rs 169 crore from overseas markets. The film had a thunderous
opening week, collecting Rs 172.75 crore, followed by Rs 107.75 crore in its second week. While collections dipped in subsequent weeks, the film’s momentum remained intact, especially as some other star-driven films struggled to leave a mark.
In its third week, the film earned Rs 28.25 crore, followed by Rs 14.1 crore in week four. By week five, it had still managed to add Rs 2.95 crore to its tally. As per trade website Sacnilk, week six saw consistent numbers with Rs 35 lakh on Friday, Rs 70 lakh on Saturday, and Rs 80 lakh on Sunday.
