After Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh, a fresh threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has put actor Himanshi Khurana under heightened police protection. The actor has reportedly received an extortion call demanding Rs 10 crore, prompting authorities in Punjab to move swiftly and tighten her security.

The Mohali Police have registered a case against gangster Zeeshan Akhtar for allegedly issuing threats and demanding Rs 10 crore from actress Himanshi Khurana.

An FIR has been registered under Sections 308(4) and 351(3) of the BNS at Mohali Police Station, and an investigation has been initiated”, SP (D) Mohali,



Sourabh Jindal, said.

According to the police, the actor received threatening emails and audio messages in which the sender allegedly demanded 10 crore.

In her complaint, Himanshi stated that she had been receiving life-threatening emails since Friday. The individual behind the messages claimed to be Zeeshan Akhtar and reiterated the demand for Rs 10 crore. She further alleged that the threats were accompanied by audio notes attached to the emails.

Following her complaint, the Mohali Police took cognisance of the matter and registered a case against Zeeshan Akhtar.
