Actor and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan received a stern warning from Telangana minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy over his recent comments about Telangana people.
Breaking what he described as a 13-year silence, the minister said he felt compelled to respond to the controversial statements.
He insisted that Pawan Kalyan must apologise before the Telangana
people would consider forgiving him.
Otherwise, he warned, theatres across the state would stop screening the actor’s films, adding that they would run “only for a couple of days” if an apology is made.
Komatireddy warned Pawan Kalyan to be ready to deal with the fallout if he persisted in what he described as a "new brand of politics that insults the people of Telangana."
