Karan Johar wins Best Host at Asian Academy Awards for Traitors

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been recognised with the best host award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in The Traitors. The second season of the reality competition is reportedly set to premiere in March 2026.

Karan shared his gratitude on Instagram and wrote, "I am so honoured to have won best host for The Traitors at @asianacademycreativeawards in Singapore due to my



prior commitment at the @marrakechfilmfestival. I was unable to attend but would like to thank the academy for this nod (sic)."

"I would like to thank @primevideoin the non-fiction creative teams, technical and on-ground teams of TRAITORS India for making me look good!!!! Thank you to Gaurav Gandhi and Nikhil Madhok for giving me this delicious opportunity (sic)," he added.
