After a decade since his debut as a leading actor, comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma is set to return to the big screen with the much-awaited sequel to his hit film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'. The film was released in 2015. The sequel named ' Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' is reportedly slated for a theatrical release on September 26, 2025.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of the film are seriously considering September 26 for the sequel’s release. The date marks 10 years since the original film hit cinemas on September 25, 2015. A source close to the production shared with the news portal, “The makers are considering multiple dates and one of the dates being seriously looked at is September 26, 2025. There’s not much competition on that day and moreover, the date has an importance. The first part was released exactly ten years ago on that week – September 25, 2015. This has added to the significance of the date.”

Though the final release date is not confirmed yet, sources say the makers are carefully deciding the best time to release the film. To build excitement, they have shared four different posters, each based on a popular festival like Eid, Ram Navami, Baisakhi, and Easter. In every poster, Kapil Sharma is seen dressed as a groom in different

traditional wedding outfits.

This unique promo idea has stirred speculations about the film’s story. According to reports, the plot might show Kapil’s character getting married to women from four different religions, adding a fun and multicultural twist to the comedy seen in the first film.

“In each poster, Kapil Sharma appears to be getting married in a different religious tradition. This has fuelled speculation that the sequel might revolve around the protagonist marrying women from four different faiths. If true, it could add a quirky and intriguing layer to the story. But as of now, nothing is known for sure and the teaser or trailer will give an idea of this aspect.” the source added.

'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' is directed by Anukalp Goswami, while Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first part, are now producing the film along with Venus Films. The sequel features Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh in lead roles and promises to bring back the same fun, confusion, and comedy that made the original film a favourite among audiences.

The original 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' followed the story of a man who accidentally finds himself married to three women while dating a fourth, leading to a hilarious web of lies and misunderstandings.
