Renowned Punjabi comedian and actor Jaswinder Bhalla died on Friday morning at Fortis Hospital in Mohali due health-related ailments.

He was 65 years old.

Born on May 4, 1960, in Doraha city of Ludhiana district, Jaswinder Bhalla left an indelible mark on the Punjabi entertainment industry with his unique sense of humour and memorable characters.



Reports suggest that he had been unwell for the past few months. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi film industry and among his fans, with condolences pouring in on social media.

The last rites will be held on August 23 at 12 noon at the Balongi cremation ground in Mohali. A large number of fans and artists are expected to gather for his final farewell.
