Inconsolable Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar in tears at Satish Shah funeral

An emotional farewell was bid to veteran actor Satish Shah on Sunday morning in Mumbai, as his 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' co-stars Rupali Ganguly and Rajesh Kumar were seen breaking down during the funeral.

Scenes outside the funeral venue were filled with grief as Rupali Ganguly, who played Monisha Sarabhai, was seen in tears while arriving to pay her last respects. Sumeet Raghavan was seen consoling her as she folded her hands to photographers, requesting them to stop filming the



moment. Rajesh Kumar, who played her on-screen husband Rosesh, was also visibly overwhelmed and broke down as he left the ceremony.

In another video going viral on social media, the team of 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' was seen singing the show's theme song at the funeral. The caption to the clip, shared by Rajesh Kumar, read, "The final bye. Could not have been complete without #sarabhai song. LONG LIVE INDU. Kaka did you hear. I also tried to sing (sic)."
