Ibrahim Khan, Khushi Kapoor to star in Karan Johar's next OTT project: Reports

Ibrahim Khan and Khushi Kapoor will reportedly team up for Karan Johar's next project. As per reports, the film will be helmed by Shauna Gautam. Karan Johar, who is known for introducing new talents in the Hindi film industry, will continue his legacy by teaming Ibrahim with Khushi for his upcoming movie. The film is said to premiere on OTT.

Producer Karan Johar is gearing up to introduce Ibrahim Ali Khan to the silver screen with 'Sarzameen' alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. According to Pinkvilla, the filmmaker will also produce a romantic comedy with Ibrahim and Khushi

"It’s being planned as a direct-to-digital project to be produced by his digital wing, Dharmatics. The film will go on floors next year and will be directed by Shauna Gautam. The makers are in talks with a leading OTT player for streaming rights", a source told the development.

However, the title of the film is not yet decided. The source added, "It’s one of those romantic comedies that Hindi Cinema is known for. However, Karan and co. feel that the palette of narrative fits better for the OTT than the big screen. It’s planned and will be executed as an OTT original."
