Satish Kaushik passed away last month, following a cardiac arrest. His untimely demise left many in a state of shock. Salman Khan, who shared a strong bond with the filmmaker, has now revealed that he wanted to collaborate with Satish Kaushik for Tere Naam 2.

He further added that he had heard a one-liner for the proposed sequel. Tere Naam was a romantic drama that did well at the box office in 2003. It was a remake of Chiyaan Vikram's Tamil film, Sethu.

The Sultan star has now revealed, in an off-the-record conversation with the media, that he was in talks with Satish Kaushik for Tere Naam 2. He further added that they discussed an idea for the sequel nearly 20 years ago,

Tere Naam was a remake of Sethu. The Hindi-language film's cast included Bhumika Chawla, Ravi Kishan and Sachin Khedekar.
