Popular singer Mangli has responded to rumours linking her to a Rs 150 crore cheating case, firmly denying any involvement and appealing for restraint from the media and public.
Addressing a press conference, she said: “I request everyone not to believe these allegations without verification. If necessary, please conduct a proper inquiry, but do not spread unverified claims.”
Speaking emotionally about the impact of the controversy, Mangli added: “I am undergoing a lot of stress and
pressure. Singing is the only thing I know—it has always been my passion.”
She also expressed sympathy for those affected by the alleged scam: “I feel deeply sorry for the victims. Even though my name is being mentioned, I understand their pain and anguish.”
Recalling her own humble background, she said she relates to the struggles of ordinary people and would never knowingly be part of such an issue. At the same time, she asserted her willingness to fully cooperate with authorities.
