Have some shame: Kunickaa Sadanand slams viral post linking her to Kumar Sanu

Veteran actor Kunickaa Sadanand has once again addressed conversations around her past after a viral social media post linked her to singer Kumar Sanu. The actor, who was recently in the spotlight following her stint on Bigg Boss 19 hosted by Salman Khan, strongly reacted to an AI-generated image circulating online, urging users to respect personal boundaries.

The controversy began when a user shared a morphed image of Kunickaa and Kumar Sanu along with a message seeking a response from the actor. Unhappy with the post, she called out the user for fuelling unnecessary speculation and dragging their personal lives into fandom-driven narratives.

Responding sharply, she wrote, “Sharam karo, this man is happily married and he has kids, you should also know he has personality rights given to him by the court, u will get into trouble for this. Stop dragging him or my personal life fandom wars. Give the



due respect to a persons rights. I’m reporting u for defamation, take this down (sic)."

Kunickaa has previously spoken about her past, often shutting down trolls who revisit old relationships.

The renewed attention also follows recent remarks by her son Ayaan during an interview with Siddharth Kannan for his YouTube channel, where he shared insights into her personal life and clarified misconceptions about her equation with Kumar Sanu.

Ayaan noted that while people often exaggerate the timeline of the relationship, it was not as long as believed. He added that his mother has always admired Kumar Sanu as a singer and continues to enjoy his music.

Despite ongoing online chatter, Kunickaa’s response makes it clear that she draws a firm line when it comes to privacy, especially when it involves individuals who are now leading separate personal lives.
