As anticipation builds for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the first chapter of the espionage-thriller remains a global hit, holding its spot among the top 10 films on streaming worldwide. Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar set a new record of securing 22 million views on OTT.
In its fifth week on Netflix, Dhurandhar drew 1.3 million views, securing the ninth spot among non-English films globally for the period of February 23 to March 1, as reported by Sacnilk. In just over a month since its Netflix debut, the film has reached a total of 22 million views in 31 days so far, the report mentioned.
Dhurandhar is the most-watched Indian film on Netflix since last year, and the
most-watched Indian title this year across all digital platforms. Among 2026 films, Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi's Haq is the second most-watched film on Netflix with 11.3 million views.
The film's sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Its release strategically coincides with Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi.
Dhurandhar will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, marking a calculated pan-India expansion driven by massive demand across South India.
The spy-thriller is set for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
