Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge is on a phenomenal run at the box office. The film is now racing towards the Rs 1,000 crore gross mark in India and is expected to cross the milestone by the end of its second weekend. After nine days, it stands at a massive Rs 715.72 crore nett, translating to Rs 854.99 crore gross.

The film added a strong Rs 41.55 crore nett on its second Friday - an impressive hold by any standard. As it heads into the second weekend, the momentum is only expected to build, with projections suggesting collections of

over Rs 50 crore on both Saturday and Sunday. This surge could comfortably push the film into the Rs 1,000 crore nett club in India.

Dhurandhar 2 has already emerged as the fastest Bollywood entrant into the Rs 1,000 crore club trajectory and, combined with its predecessor, has pushed the franchise into the Rs 2,000 crore league. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film is currently the biggest force in Indian cinema, even closing in on the worldwide benchmarks set by Pushpa 2 - and notably, without a release in the Gulf market.
