Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s 'War 2', the latest addition to YRF’s spy universe, witnessed a noticeable dip on Day 3 after a strong start at the box office. Despite the fall, the film has managed to collect nearly Rs 143–144 crore in India within three days and has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. With this, the film has overtaken the lifetime business of 'Sky Force' and 'Sikandar', becoming the seventh highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 so far.
According to Sacnilk, the film opened with a massive Rs 52 crore nett on Thursday, followed by an impressive Rs 57.35 crore on Friday, thanks to the holiday boost. However, Saturday saw
collections slip to an estimated Rs 33 crore across all languages, bringing the India nett total to Rs 142.35 crore. Industry trackers now pin hopes on Sunday for a strong recovery to push the film past Rs 150 crore in India.
Regionally, the Hindi version continues to lead in collections, while Jr NTR’s presence has ensured strong numbers in Telugu-speaking markets, where the film has already crossed Rs 35 crore in three days. The Tamil version has also performed steadily, recording higher occupancies on Day 3 compared to Hindi. Cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru reported stronger footfalls, while metros like Delhi and Mumbai remained relatively lukewarm.
