Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has picked up pace once again at the worldwide box office, aided by the Christmas holiday. Now in its fourth week in theatres, the Aditya Dhar-directed spy thriller continues to post robust numbers, earning over $1 million per day in overseas markets and an estimated Rs 20–25 crore gross domestically.
The renewed momentum has pushed Dhurandhar past several historic milestones. According to trade sources, the film has crossed the $26 million mark overseas, while its worldwide gross currently stands at around Rs 1,035 crore. The makers, however, claim the film has already surpassed Rs 1,050 crore globally.
After a power-packed Friday start to its fourth week, Dhurandhar registered another strong surge on Saturday, crossing the Rs 700 crore nett mark in India and further cementing its status as the highest-earning Indian film of all time.
The film posted an impressive Rs 20.90 crore nett in the domestic market on Saturday (Day 23), continuing to defy conventional box office trends even deep into its fourth weekend.
With consistent footfalls and sustained momentum, Dhurandhar
has held audience interest week after week, charging ahead through holidays and beyond. Its extraordinary endurance run is being described by trade observers as unprecedented in Indian cinema.
Internationally, the film’s performance has been equally impressive. Dhurandhar has surpassed the lifetime overseas collections of several milestone Indian films, including Raj Kapoor’s Awara ($25.8 million), Mera Naam Joker ($22.1 million), My Name Is Khan ($20.3 million), Dunki ($23.7 million) and 3 Idiots ($26 million). While it remains far from the all-time overseas record held by Dangal, which earned a staggering $258 million, the film is steadily climbing the charts. Trade analysts expect it to overtake the overseas totals of Sholay ($28 million), Kalki 2898 AD and Bobby (both at $29 million) before the end of its theatrical run.
Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian operative who infiltrates gang and terror networks in Karachi. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan in pivotal roles. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller is set to expand with Dhurandhar: Part 2, slated for release in March 2026.
