Megastar Chiranjeevi gave fans a glimpse into an intimate family celebration on February 13 as he shared the first official photos of his newborn grandchildren — the twins of Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela — during their naming ceremony. The twins, born on January 31, 2026, have been named Shiva Ram Konidela and Anveera Devi Konidela.
Making the announcement on X, Chiranjeevi expressed “boundless joy and divine grace” as he introduced the babies to the world and sought blessings for them. Explaining the meaning behind the names, he described Shiva Ram as a powerful blend of two spiritual and moral ideals.
Chiranjeevi said “Shiva” draws inspiration from his own birth name, Shiva Shankara Vara Prasad, symbolising inner strength, spiritual depth and calmness. “Ram,” he noted, comes from
Ram Charan’s name and represents righteousness, compassion and moral courage. Together, he said, the name reflects a harmony between inner power and responsible action.
For the baby girl, Anveera Devi, Chiranjeevi described the name as an embodiment of the Divine Feminine. He shared that Anveera signifies fearlessness, resilience and divine protection, inspired by the blessings of Kanaka Durga Devi. According to him, the name reflects grace, courage and unwavering strength.
The photos from the ceremony captured a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Ram Charan and Upasana were seen with their newborns and their daughter, Klin Kaara, surrounded by both sets of grandparents. Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha held the twins for pictures, while Upasana’s parents, Shobana and Anil Kamineni, joined the celebrations.
