Celebs react to Ahmedabad plane crash

A London-bound Air India aircraft crashed during take-off in Ahmedabad on June 12. The news came as a shock to everyone, prompting an outpouring of concern, support, and prayers from film celebrities, including Allu Arjun, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Riteish Deshmukh, Randeep Hooda, Janhvi Kapoor, and others.

Minister of External Affairs Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, confirmed that several people died in the Air India plane crash today.

Actor Aamir Khan's team released an official statement, expressing solidarity and offering condolences to the families of those who died in the incident. The statement read, "We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash that occurred today. At this moment of profound loss, our thoughts and condolences are with the families of those affected. We stand in solidarity with the individuals, communities, and responders impacted by this devastating event. Stay strong India. Team AKP (sic)."

Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Madhuri Dixit and Ameesha Patel, among others, also shared a deep sense of grief at the unfortunate plane crash.

Allu Arjun posted a note on X that

A 'devastated' Alia Bhatt's 'heart ached' following the plane crash. She sent prayers and support via an Instagram post.

Riteish Deshmukh expressed his concern on X and wrote, "Absolutely heartbroken and in shock after hearing about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My heart goes out to all the passengers, their families, and everyone affected on the ground. Holding them all in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time (sic)."

Actor Randeep Hooda was heartbroken after the news. Sharing his note on X, he wrote, "Heartbreaking to hear about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. Hoping for survivors and strength for the rescue teams. May the departed rest in peace, and may their families find the strength to endure this immense loss (sic)."

Sunny Deol shared he was 'devastated' after he learned about the tragic incident. A section of his note read, "May those who lost their lives rest in peace, and may their families find strength in this unimaginable time (sic)."

Janhvi Kapoor wrote, "Shaken by the news of the Air India flight crash that took place shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad. The weight of such tragedies is impossible to put into words. Praying deeply for the passengers, the crew, and every family waiting for answers tonight (sic)."
