Today, India is celebrating its 75 years of Independence, with utmost pride and joy. Bollywood and TV celebrities painted social media with colours of freedom. Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, and others took to their official Twitter and Instagram accounts to extend warm wishes to their fans. 

On the occasion of Independence Day, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of him holding the national flag. Sharing the post, Salman wrote, “Wishing everyone a very happy 75th Independence Day… Jai Hind.”

Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram and wrote, "75 years of Independence; a happy & proud moment for each of us. May we go from strength to strength. Happy Independence Day to all. #HarGharTiranga @amritmahotsav @narendramodi @adffilms."

Shah Rukh Khan shared a video in which his sons Aryan and AbRam can be seen hoisting the national flag. He captioned the post, "Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly."

KGF Star Yash shared a picture of himself with his wife Radhika Pandit and his two children - Ayra and Yatharv, holding the national flag, on the occasion. He captioned the photo - "The unparalleled pride of watching our Tiranga - the embodiment of courage, truth, and progress - Soar High. Here's wishing all my fellow Indians a Happy 76th Independence Day."

Mika Singh celebrated the 76th Independence Day with the Police officers at Oshiwara Police Station. 

Vivek Oberoi waved the national flag with son Vivaan Veer Oberoi and daughter Ameyaa Nirvana Oberoi in front of the British Parliament.

Taking to his social media, Hrithik shared a beautiful picture that captured India's growth in different sectors. The actor further penned down a heartfelt note writing, "Celebrating the power, strength and boundless potential of India. From the white, green and blue revolutions to the terrific scientific achievements, technological developments and sport milestones…"

Kangana Ranaut who recently shared that she is down with dengue celebrated Independence Day at her home and shared that the spirit of national celebration has taken over her.

Anil Kapoor, on the occasion of the 76th Independence day, shared a video with the national flag. Taking to Instagram, the 'Ram Lakhan' actor captioned the video, "75 years of Indian Independence!!! Marching ahead with our heads held high! Jai Hind."

Wishing the nation and its people a happy Independence day, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu said that India is one nation with one emotion and one identity. Taking to Twitter to greet the masses on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day, Mahesh Babu tweeted: "One nation.. One emotion.. One identity! Celebrating 75 years of Independence!"

Preity Zinta marked Independence Day in one of the cutest ways. On Monday morning, she took to Instagram and shared a string of adorable images of her twins, Jai and Gia. 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are celebrating 75 years of Independence Day together. "Celebrating 75 years of our independence. Wishing all the Indians around the world a very #HappyIndependenceDay ! Jai Hind," shared the actress wishing her followers on Instagram.
