Bollywood Actor Salman To Produce, Direct Biopic on Dad Salim Khan

Salman Khan is all set to bring out a biopic on his father, screenwriter and producer Salim Khan, who is nearing 90. “Salman doesn’t want to wait till after Salim saab is no more. 

He wants to make a film on his father during Salim saab’s lifetime. He knows everything there is to know about Salim saab; more inputs will come from the patriarch himself,” reveals a very close friend of Salman. 

Most interestingly, Salman will turn director with this project. “He won’t



allow anyone else to do it,” says the source. The project is expected to go into production in early 2027. 

The star has won a reputation for being a wonderful son, not only to his parents but also to his father’s second wife, Helen, who he refuses to call ‘stepmother’ but sees as his ‘second mom.’ 

The biopic, which will start from Salim Khan’s stint as an actor, and go on to his association with Javed Akhtar, will include both his wives in its scope.
