Bigg Boss Kannada 12 in trouble, set sealed over environmental breach

The house of 'Bigg Boss Kannada 12' has been sealed by authorities after violations of environmental rules were found. The set is located at Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures, in the Bidadi Industrial Area. The contestants, who are currently inside the house, will soon be required to leave the premises.

A statement has been issued on Colors Kannada's X account regarding the disruption in airtime.

"Due to unforeseen reasons, there was a disruption in the airing time of today's episode of 'Bigg Boss' on Jio Hotstar.



We apologize for this inconvenience. Today's episode is now available for viewing on JioHotstar (sic)," it read.

'Bigg Boss Kannada 12' enjoys high viewership across Karnataka and is hosted by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep. However, the show must now suspend all activities while the site works to meet environmental standards.

Earlier, a site inspection by officials revealed concerns about how waste and sewage were being managed at the studio. These findings led to calls for the reality show’s filming to be suspended.
