Finnish President Alexander Stubb said he watched the Indian spy thriller Dhurandhar before arriving in India for his state visit from March 4 to 7, 2026. Stubb made the disclosure while in New Delhi, where he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While discussing Dhurandhar, he explained the influence behind his decision to watch the film and said he is happy to fight against terrorism. He expressed his excitement for the sequel, which is slated to release on March 19.

to ANI, Stubb said, "Interestingly enough, before I came to India, my son suggested I should watch Dhurandhar. And I did. Of course, that was one part of the narrative of that movie. I am happy to fight against terrorism and look forward to the sequel on the 19th of March," he said.
The Aditya Dhar directorial was released in Indian theatres on December 5, 2025, and became the highest-grossing film of the year. Now, its sequel has generated significant attention with the release of its trailer.
