Michael Bay, the director behind high-octane Hollywood blockbusters, including the action series Bad Boys and the historical war film - Pearl Harbour, is set to make his debut in the Indian film industry. He will be collaborating with Bhanushali Studios Limited on a project directed by Anthony D'Souza, which will feature music composed by AR Rahman.

Paparazzo Manav Mangalani on his Instagram handle shared a note with the brand logo of Bhanushali Studios, read, "Proclaimed Filmmaker, Michael Bay to creatively collaborate with Bhansali Studios Limited for an Anthony D'Souza directorial with music by maestro A R Rahman (sic)...Bhanushali Studios Limited led by Vinod Bhanushali is all set to creatively collaborate with Hollywood's visionary storyteller, Michael Bay, who has given us high grossing films like Bad Boys, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Transformers Franchise, A Quiet Place Franchise and so much more."

The note further read, "This



adrenaline-charged project will be directed by Anthony D'Souza, the filmmaker known for high-scale entertainers such as Boss, Blue, and Azhar. Adding to the team is none other than India's musical maestro A R Rahman who has taken Indian stories and music to the global platform (sic)."

Bay's filmography includes movies such as - The Rock, Armageddon, Transformers, The Island, Pain and Gain, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Ambulance and others.

He also directed the American action film - 6 Underground, featuring Ryan Reynolds, Mlanie Laurent, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Corey Hawkins, Ben Hardy and Dave Franco. Bay produced it with his longtime business partner Ian Bryce and Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. The movie follows a group of people who fake their deaths and decide to form a vigilante team in order to stage a coup d'tat against a ruthless dictator.
