A special screening of 'Tanvi The Great' was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, watched the film ahead of its theatrical release. Set to hit cinemas on July 18, 2025, the much-anticipated film has already made waves internationally and now aims to create a meaningful impact at home.
The event was attended by the film’s ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, and debutant Shubhangi.
Anupam Kher, who also
plays a pivotal role, expressed his gratitude following the screening. “It was an ultimate moment of pride for us to have the President and the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces watch our film, and to see her applaud it at the end was a dream come true,” he said.
“As a director, this kind of endorsement from the highest office in the country is my ultimate ‘kuch bhi ho sakta hai’ moment. She truly epitomises our film’s tagline, ‘Different But No Less' (sic)," Kher continued.
