Director Subhash Kapoor's 'Jolly LLB 3' witnessed a growth in earnings on its second day. The film, featuring actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, collected over Rs 32 crore on Saturday, reflecting on the strong audience word of mouth.

The courtroom-comedy-drama had earned Rs 12.5 crore on Friday, while its Day 2 earnings stood at Rs 20 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. Its overall collection is Rs 32.75 crore. 'Jolly LLB 3' registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 35.40%, according to the report. The movie recorded 13.65% in morning shows, 32.38% in the afternoon, 40.47% in the evening, and 55.10% at night. If the film keeps benefitting from word of mouth, it might cross the Rs 50 crore mark in the opening

weekend.

'Jolly LLB 3' narrates the fight between two Jollies handling the case according to their own standards of morality and ethics, seeking technical loopholes to win. It also hints at the epic clash over who is the real and more significant Jolly is in the legal world.

While Akshay was the protagonist in 'Jolly LLB 2', Arshad played the lead in 'Jolly LLB'. While the first instalment dealt with the issue of calss disparity and social justice, the sequel was about the wrongful accusation of an innocent citizen. This is the first time the two characters from the same franchise will have a face-off over a legal case. The only common character in both movies is Judge Sunder Lal Tripathi, essayed by Saurabh Shukla.
