Ahaan Panday to feature in Ali Abbas Zafar's next with YRF: Report

Actor Ahaan Panday is all set to move on to his next project after the success of his debut 'Saiyaara'. He will team up with director Ali Abbas Zafar for a romance action film, according to reports.

Ahaan will be collaborating with the director for Yash Raj Films' next project, which will be a romance action movie, as reported by Pinkvilla. The report quoting a source stated, "Ali has won over the audience with brilliant dramas like Sultan, and even in an action film like Tiger Zinda Hai, he made the storytelling gripping due to the drama that he infused into the scenes."

"Ali wanted to go back to his roots, to the genre that has given him so much love with his next film. He was blown away seeing Ahaan Panday and his aura with emotional and dramatic scenes in Saiyaara," the report added.

While reflecting on Ahaan teaming up with Ali, the report further added, "Ali has won over the audience with brilliant dramas like 'Sultan', and even in an action film like 'Tiger Zinda Hai', he

According to the report, Aditya Chopra suggested to the director that Ahaan be cast in the film, believing a new face would bring an element of surprise for the audience. He feels that the star’s underexposure is actually his greatest advantage, and that the success of the film will make fans more curious and excited to see his next move.

The report also emphasised, "Adi and Ali will unlock a totally different side to Ahaan’s acting in this yet untitled film by putting him into a new world where intense passion, romance and action meets hard-hitting drama." It also stated that the script has been finalised and that the music-seatings had already begun. The film will reportedly go on floors around the first quarter of 2026.
