Actor Barun Sobti confirms Asur 3 in works

Actor Barun Sobti, who is known for some impressive performances on OTT, recently piqued the curiosity of fans with ‘Asur 3’ update. He also reflected on how the show reshaped the audience’s perception of him.

In a special segment by Pinkvilla titled Behind The Success, Barun spoke about Asur and shared an exciting update about its third season. During the session, the 41-year-old actor was asked about the developments on ‘Asur 3’. The actor replied to the same and shared that the writing of the much-awaited installment has just



wrapped up. The team is yet to begin the shoot, and it will take a while to go on the floors.

Barun Sobti, who also starred in ‘Kohrra’, shared that ‘Asur’ completely changed how audiences viewed him, marking a shift in his image to that of a serious actor.

Calling ‘Asur’ a ‘very well-written’ show, he recalled his initial reaction when first offered the role. “It was brilliantly written. In fact, when they approached me, I wondered, ‘Why me, sir? It’s such a good script,’” he said with a laugh.
