Aamir Khan was seen at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, April 29, where he attended the IPL 2026 match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad with his son Junaid Khan.
The father-son duo arrived wearing Mumbai Indians jerseys amid promotions for Junaid’s upcoming film Ek Din.
The outing comes shortly after Aamir spoke about Junaid’s career and praised his son for his independent nature and approach towards work.
In a conversation with Radio City India, Aamir said, “Junaid aisa nahi hai, vo mujhe kabhi kuch karne nahi dega
(Junaid isn't like that; he would never let me do anything)."
He expressed that his son is very independent, strong-willed and not someone who gives up easily.
The actor further added, “Voh lambi race ka ghoda hai, jo mere baare mein bhi bola jaata tha jab main pehle pehle aaya tha (He is a 'long-distance horse' - a phrase that was also used to describe me when I first started (in the Hindi film industry)."
The 61-year-old actor further said that failures do not affect Junaid Khan and described him as someone who remains honest with himself.
