Emraan Hashmi sparks nostalgia fest in Hyderabad as he takes over DJ console

Actor Emraan Hashmi and DJ Ganesh turned up the nostalgia in Hyderabad on Saturday night as they took over Quake Arena in Kondapur for The Emraan Era. The special Bollywood-themed event saw the actor join the popular DJ at the console, with Emraan’s iconic music catalogue taking centre stage as fans danced and sang along.

Videos from the venue showed a packed crowd gathered around the DJ console, with fans holding up their phones to capture Emraan from just a few feet away. Dressed in black and sporting sunglasses, the actor appeared to soak in the energy as one familiar track after another played through the night.

DJ Ganesh further amped up the crowd with the line, “Aakha Bollywood ek taraf,



Emraan Hashmi ek taraf,” before seamlessly transitioning into Bheegey Hont Tere. As the opening beats of the track played, the venue erupted, with fans instantly recognising the song and embracing the nostalgia that came with it.

The night also had to feature Toh Phir Aao. The cult track from Awarapan brought another wave of nostalgia to the venue, with fans reliving the song that once dominated playlists, college memories and late-night heartbreak sessions.

The Hyderabad event marks Emraan’s return to the live entertainment scene after nearly two decades. It follows his Bollywood-themed outing in Bengaluru, with both appearances coming amid renewed interest in the actor and his music.
