Customs Question Dulquer Salman 'Bhutan Vehicle Smuggling Case'

Actor Dulquer Salman was questioned by Customs in connection with the alleged smuggling of luxury vehicles from Bhutan to evade taxes.

Officials have also identified four more vehicles linked to the actor and have directed him to submit additional documents. Dulquer appeared before the Customs Preventive Wing at its Kochi office on Tuesday, where he was questioned for several hours as part of the investigation.

The questioning focused on four vehicles owned by the actor that were earlier



seized under Operation Numkhor. 

Investigators sought details about the purchase of the vehicles, including from whom they were bought, the mode of purchase, and the financial transactions involved. 

According to reports, Dulquer told officials that he had purchased the vehicles through legal channels and was unaware that they had allegedly been brought into India from Bhutan. He also stated that he had already submitted the relevant vehicle documents to Customs.
