Music industry titan Clive Davis, the legendary executive credited with discovering and shaping the careers of some of the biggest names in music, died on Monday at the age of 94. The cause of death hasn’t been revealed.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern music, Davis played a pivotal role in launching and nurturing
the careers of artistes such as Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Santana, Alicia Keys, Janis Joplin and Barry Manilow.
Known for his sharp business instincts and exceptional ear for talent, Davis enjoyed a career spanning more than six decades. Music icon Aretha Franklin once described him as "the greatest record man of all time."
