Amitabh Bachchan extended Diwali and Chaturdashi wishes to readers through his latest blog post. He thanked everyone who had sent him greetings and gifts, adding that he had run out of space to keep all the presents.
The veteran actor also explained why he had been unable to respond to everyone on time. He said he was having difficulty moving the hand he usually uses to write.
“I wanted to write replies personally, but I am experiencing some difficulty moving the hand with which I write. That is why there has been a delay. I sincerely apologise,” Bachchan wrote.
Reflecting on his repeated apologies in recent days, he shared his thoughts on seeking forgiveness. “One should seek forgiveness. There is nothing wrong in asking for it,” he
wrote.
He added that if the other person accepts the apology, “Our heart will feel happy and at peace. If not, their mind will remain disturbed.”
Bachchan then asked readers: “So, the question is: should one choose happiness and peace of mind or resentment and hurt?” He ended the message by writing, “Diversity is the mystery of life.”
