Actor Ram Kapoor made a shocking revelation in the latest episode of 'Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa,' where he spoke about one of the darkest phases of his life. During an eviction task on the Netflix reality show, Ram shared his third and final secret, which helped him secure a place in the finale week.
Opening up about a chapter he said even his wife Gautami Kapoor and their children did not know about, Ram revealed that he battled "severe depression" while working on 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.'
He admitted that his behaviour during that period affected both his personal life and career. "I have kept one secret from the world; even my wife doesn't know. During the show (Bade Achhe Lagte Hain), I went through the absolute worst depression of my life. I received so
much love because of my weight, and I was talked about so much that I became the highest-rated TV star for a while," Ram said.
Looking back at that phase, he admitted that he would often reach the set several hours late, drink alcohol during shoots and speak badly to people around him. "I became a very, very ugly person. Main 6-6 ghanta late pahunchta tha shooting pe. Maine set pe daaru peeta tha. Maine logon se bahut bure tareeke se baat ki."
He further added, "I became a monster." Ram also confessed that he feels ashamed when he looks back at that period of his life. "I'd become such a human being that I am ashamed of myself." The actor also spoke about the serious health issues he was dealing with despite being at the peak of his television career.
