Actor Suneil Anand, son of Dev Anand, dies at 70

Actor Suneil Anand, son of legendary Bollywood actor Dev Anand, died after suffering a heart attack in London. He was 70.

The news was confirmed by Gina Narang, Dev Anand's granddaughter and Suneil Anand's niece. In a statement, she requested privacy for the family as they grieve the loss.

"With heavy hearts, our family mourns the passing of Suneil Anand. We are comforted by the outpouring of



love, prayers and support, for which we are truly grateful. We kindly request privacy as we navigate this difficult time together," the statement read.

Born to Dev Anand and actor Kalpana Karthik in Zurich, Switzerland, Suneil Anand made his Bollywood debut with his father with the 1984 film Anand Aur Anand after completing his studies in the US. The film, which also featured Dev Anand, failed at the box office.
