Uttar Pradesh Govt announces to establish 51 government and 21 private colleges in the state

The Uttar Pradesh Government will be setting up 51 government and 28 private colleges in the state. The purpose of opening new colleges is to boost higher education in the state. The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Dinesh Sharma said that as many as 120 colleges have started constructing e-learning parks. The Uttar Pradesh Government, as per reports, has granted Rs 15 lakh as grants against big



projects and Rs 5 lakhs for smaller projects.

The Uttar Pradesh Government has tweeted about the same, saying -- “28 private universities, 51 state colleges to be opened in Uttar Pradesh.”

Earlier, the government has launched several jobs for teachers and scholarships for students. Apart from this, the state government has been actively participating in improving the education sector.
