University of Hyderabad has initiated long distance diploma courses on subjects that focuses on the current needs of society.

The Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL) will be teaching enrolled students on subjects such as cyber laws, human rights, forensic sciences, criminal justice and technology management in



agriculture, among a host of other niche courses.

For 2019, the college has slated to launch cyber security, digital forensics, and for the first time in the country, a diploma in Panchayat Raj administration for rural students in partnership with the National Institute of Rural Development.
