The Ministry of Human Resource and Development along with Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has launched 'The Urban Learning Internship Programme (TULIP)', a programme for providing internship opportunities to fresh graduates in all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Smart Cities across the country. Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal along with MoS Housing & Urban Affairs Hardeep S Puri has launched a portal also.

This programme will harness PM Narendra Modi's dream to build the nation. "The programme will provide



practical experience to our students and will help infuse fresh ideas and innovative thinking into the working of Urban Local Bodies and smart cities," Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said.

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal appreciated that Indian talent and explained how it can show the potential of students. "The potential of students is also reflected in programmes like Smart India Hackathon in which they bring out solutions to the problems faced by Industry/, PSUs/ Government/ non-government organizations," he said.
