A two-member team of diplomats from Turkmenistan visited Osmania University on Monday. Ruslan Rejepov, the Attache and Ishanguly Orazov,the third secretary from the embassy of Turkmenistan, New Delhi called on S Ramachandram, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, and discussed the progress of education of about 65 students from Turkmenistan, studying in various courses at the university. 
They briefed the Vice Chancellor



about the common features of India and Turkmenistan and expressed their interest in entering into MoUs with Osmania University for exchange of faculty and students and research collaboration. Ramachandram informed them about the centenary celebrations of Osmania University scheduled to commence from April 26, 2017 and assured them that the university would extend the necessary cooperation in the field of higher education.
