Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Monday released the annual academic calendar for all junior intermediate colleges in for the current academic year 2021-22.

Accordingly, the theory examinations for IPE-2022 will be held between March 23, 2022 and April 12, 2022 while the practical exams are scheduled to be held between February 23, 2022 and March 15, 2022.

The TSBIE officials pointed out that all-out efforts will be made to cover 100 percent of the syllabus for the academic year 2021-22.
The Dasara holidays for the academic year for junior colleges will be between October 13 and October 16 and the date of re-opening after the festival will be October 18. The Sankranti festival holidays have been scheduled between January 13, 2022 and January 15, 2022 and the date of reopening of schools after Sankranti will be January 17, 2022.

to Covid-19, the State government conducted online classes between July and August, which means that there will be a total of 220 working days out of which 47 days were online and 173 days will be physical classes.

The summer vacation for the junior colleges in this academic year (2021-22) will be from April 14, 2022 to May 31, 2022 and the last working day for this academic year (2021-22) will be April 13, 2022.

The advanced supplementary examinations-2022 will be held in the last week of May, 2022 and date of re-opening of junior colleges for 2022-23 will be June 1, 2022.

Secretary, TSBIE, Syed Omer Jaleel said that all the managements of private junior colleges must ensure that they implement the academic calendar and in case any kind of deviation is noticed, then stringent action will be initiated against the managements.
