Hyderabad: The State government has decided to carry out recruitment to about 550 posts in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development departments through the Telangana Public Service Commission. The recruitment has been necessitated due to the works going on under the Water Grid Scheme and related works. The State government has released a GO in this regard as per the proposals made by Panchayat Raj Ministry. The State Public Service Commission would release a notification on its website after finalising the selection procedure and scheme of syllabus, pending clearance from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. TSPSC officials have informed that very soon other notifications would also be released. They informed that recruitment for the posts of civil engineers would be carried out in a fair manner as per the instructions of the government and necessary arrangements for releasing the notification have been completed.
