Only the grading and grade point average of the students, not marks, will be indicated.
Telangana deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari, who also holds the education portfolio, said 5,33,701 students, including 5,07,938 as regular candidates, appeared for the SSC examinations held from March 14 to 30 this year.
"Compared to last year, this is 1.4% less. The marginal fall in the pass percentage is due to strict invigilation, a fool-proof conduct of the examinations with the deployment of sitting and flying squads and maintenance of standards in the examination process," he said during a brief press conference.
He said like last year, girls outperformed boys in the results. The pass percentage of the girls was 85.37 compared to boys whose pass percentage was

82.95.
This year, too, government schools recorded excellent results, with OBC welfare residential schools recording a pass percentage of 94.6. The other residential schools, too, registered over 90% result.
Srihari said while 2005 schools recorded 100% result, 28 schools including 20 private schools, recorded zero percent.
The minister said Jagitial district stood at the top with 97.35% students clearing the exam, followed by Karimnagar at 94.73%, Jangaon at 93.56%, and Warangal at 93.48%. Wanaparthy was at the bottom where 64.84% students passed the exam, he added.
The advanced supplementary examinations for the failed candidates will be held from June 8 to 19 between 9.30am and 12.15pm. The last date for applying for the supplementary exams is May 18.
Andhra Pradesh education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said the SSC examination results in the state would be declared at 12pm on May 6. About 7 lakh candidates appeared for the SSC examination, conducted by Andhra Pradesh's Board of Secondary Education from March 26 to April 16 this year.
Last year, the results were declared on May 10.
