Students of IITs, IIMs and NITs have come together to help workers, homeless people and migrants who are stranded because of the Covid-19 lockdown through the 'Sahyog' initiative, which is accompanied by a mobile app of the same name.

The Sahyog group comprises around 700 student volunteers who are

trying to bridge the communication.

They have launched a toll-free helpline for people to call and ask for help after which the team coordinates with NGOs to see that the requirement is fulfilled.
