Amid covid-19, the Punjab government on Sunday, September 20, has allowed the students of classes 9 to 12 to visit their respective schools for taking guidance from their teachers. However, students can only schools that are out of the containment zones, and voluntarily only.

The decision came in accordance to unlock- 4 guidelines issued by the MHA), a government release said here. However, this permission would be subject to the written consent of parents/guardians from September 21 as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on September 8, it said.
