All the government schools were instructed to increase student enrollment for the academic year 2019-20 during Prof Jayashankar Badibata programme (admission drive) to be held from June 4 to 12.

The Commissioner of School Education has set a nine point target to teachers, including 100 per cent transition of students from one class to

another.

Government schools were asked to identity children who completed five years in Anganwadi centres and join them in the government schools.

School Education Commissioner T Vijaya Kumar on Friday issued proceedings detailing the day-wise schedule for the admission drive.
