Schools in Punjab been shut except for Classes 10 and 12 as Covid-19 cases surge

In the wake of a surge in Covid-19 cases in Punjab, the state government has announced closure of government schools from pre-primary to Class 9 and Class 11.

Preparatory leaves



have been declared for these classes ahead of the final exams. However, schools will remain open for Classes 10 and 12. Examinations will be conducted in offline mode, the government informed.
