Samantha and Vijay deverakonda's Kushi to hit screens on September 1

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of Shaakuntalam, which will hit theatres on April 14. Amid the promotions of the film, the actress took to Instagram to unveil the release date of her upcoming film, Kushi. In the film, directed by Shiva Nirvana, she is paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda. According to the team, Kushi will release in theatres on September 1. Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda's fans are eagerly waiting to see the film.

The



shooting of Kushi was halted after Samantha was diagnosed with Myositis, an auto-immune condition. The makers are planning to resume the film's shoot soon.

On March 23, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha took to their respective social media pages to announce the release date of their upcoming romantic comedy titled Kushi. The actress shared the poster and wrote, "Whole heart #Kushi @thedeverakonda @shivanirvana621 @heshamabdulwahab @mythriofficial (sic)."
