The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional results for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025, shortlisting 26,889 candidates for postgraduate medical and dental seats.
More than 2 lakh students appeared for the NEET PG exam this year, of which around 1,28,116 qualified.
The MCC conducts admissions to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ)
seats in government, deemed and private medical institutions. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round must report to their allotted college between November 21 and November 27, 2025.
The Round 1 counselling process began on October 17, 2025, and included registration, choice filling and the processing of seat allotment before the provisional list was issued.
