The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is set to be held in the first week of February 2026, bringing students, parents and teachers together for a nationwide discussion on exams and life beyond marks.
The tentative schedule for the annual interactive programme was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education through a post on X.
Sharing the update, CBSE said, "The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India will interact with students for another exciting 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha , tentatively in the first week of February 2026, at New Delhi."
The event has become a key platform where students preparing for board examinations seek guidance directly from the Prime Minister.
Pariksha Pe Charcha has seen growing participation each year. Registrations for the 2026 edition have crossed a historic milestone, with over 6 crore registrations from students, parents and
teachers across the country.
The first edition of the programme was held at the Talkatora Stadium in February 2018 and has since become a regular fixture in the academic calendar.
The programme is designed to reduce exam stress and encourage a positive and confident approach towards learning and assessments.
The interactive session will be broadcast live across multiple platforms to ensure wide reach.
Viewers will be able to watch the programme on Doordarshan channels including DD National, DD News and DD India, along with major private television channels.
The event will also be aired on All India Radio through both medium wave and FM services.
In addition, the web platforms of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education will carry the live telecast, allowing students and parents to tune in from anywhere in the country.
